The recent All Things Greenville (ATG) Winter Social at Larkin’s, The “L”, was more than just a gathering; it was a powerful demonstration of what happens when a digital community steps offline and into the real world. With well over 120 attendees filling the room, the event was a resounding success, raising over $5,000 for Jasmine Road.
A Surreal Atmosphere of Kindness
For Nikki Luther, the founder of ATG, the true highlight wasn’t the numbers, but the feeling in the room. She described the evening as “surreal,” noting that the most frequent feedback she received was a simple, yet profound compliment: “Everyone here is so nice”.

This pervasive kindness wasn’t accidental; it was the result of a community hungry for genuine connection. The event proved that face-to-face interactions offer a value that emails and texts simply cannot match. To foster this environment, ATG implemented a strategic VIP hour before the main event. This sold-out session allowed a smaller group to forge early connections, creating a relaxed and welcoming energy that set the tone for the rest of the night.
A Place at the Table
The heart of the Winter Social—and the organization itself—is the mission to ensure that no one feels alone. Luther emphasizes that the core purpose of these events is to make every attendee feel they have “a place at the table”. Whether it was long-time residents or new faces like Tara Mueller, who had just signed up as a partner, the event was a testament to the community’s desire to belong.
Fueling the Local Economy
While the Winter Social was a large-scale celebration, ATG is also committed to smaller, high-impact “pop-up” gatherings designed to support local entrepreneurs. Events like “Coffee and Community” are built to drive traffic and sales directly to local venues. Luther creates these events with the business owners’ success in mind, ensuring they are prepared with adequate staffing—such as strong baristas—to handle the influx of 40-plus customers without being overwhelmed. One such ,more intimate event, was presented by Dr. Tara Mueller DC (The Catalyst Spine Co.) with great success. A second event being presented by Mueller will be hosted at Coffee Underground on Feb 25, 2026.

Looking Ahead: Partners and Quarterly Celebrations
The momentum from the Winter Social has set the stage for an ambitious future. ATG is currently revamping its approach to business relationships with the launch of a new Partner Program. Moving away from a simple “preferred vendor” list, this initiative focuses on deep relationship building among entrepreneurs. The community response has been overwhelming, with over 100 applications submitted for the program, which launches its first trial run on March 1st.

Luther views these potential partners not as resources, but as friends, fostering a network where business owners can lean on one another.
As for the next big celebration, the success of the winter event has solidified plans for “seasonal socials.” ATG intends to host elevated, quarterly events, with early plans already in motion for a spring or summer social, potentially to be held at the Larkin’s Sawmill location.
All Things Greenville has proven that when you prioritize kindness and connection, the community will show up—ready to support a cause, support local business, and support each other.
